For NIT, education, science and technology are main driving forces to create a better today and a brighter tomorrow. Challenges are problem solving opportunities. That is why NIT aims to solve nowadays problems and to develop new concepts for tomorrow.
Placed in the Aerospace Sciences Department of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Beira Interior, our human capital is composed by a heterogeneous group of scholars, including faculty members, PhD and MSc students, and several collaborators, either with aeronautical engineering backgrounds or other related sectors of expertise. NIT main research programmes are defined and classified by its suitableness to the academia role and the possibility of emergent applications on aviation sectors, facilitating interrelations with both national and international universities and other organizations. NIT fosters the visibility of its results through scientific publications and professional advice, either on technical journals or conference proceedings, in order to validate its contribution to society, in particular the scientific community.
